Summer is traditionally the time that the Supreme Court hands down its most important decisions. This year the stakes were exceptionally high, with issues on the docket that ranged from gay rights to contraception vs. religious freedom to the President’s income tax returns. Please join legal scholar Timothy Johnson as he reviews the recently concluded session and assesses its consequences for our future.
Timothy R. Johnson is the Morse Alumni Distinguished Professor of Political Science and Law at the University of Minnesota, and a nationally recognized expert on U.S. Supreme Court oral arguments and decision making.
