Miss Benson’s Nursery School
September 26 at 6 pm

Miss Amy Benson approached her friend Helen Fillebrown in the 1940s with a dilemma. She had planned to start a nursery school for the neighborhood children but her original location was no longer an option. She asked if Helen would consider allowing the nursery school at her home; and that's how a decade of childhood excitement and energy was launched on Lake Avenue. Join us to see photos, hear stories and maybe even share some of your own from that special time at the Fillebrown House.
