Join J.B. Andersen as he examines the presidency of James Madison, our Fourth President. He will look at Madison's early life and education, his role in the American Revolution, his part as the "Father of the Constitution," his political career, his marriage to Dolley Madison, his religious views, his accomplishments and more.

J.B. Andersen is an educator, curator, historian, and writer, who served 25 years at the University of Minnesota. He is the creator of the popular Presidents Series.

This series is co-sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of the University of MN  and the Ramsey County Libraries.

This is an online class offered remotely using Zoom communication software. Register online or by calling 651-724-6001 (press #2). You must provide a valid email address to participate.

After registration, participants will receive an email from the library prior to class with additional instructions. An invitation with a Zoom link to the day's talk will be sent on the morning of each class.
