Founded in August of 2019, Sahan Journal is a nonprofit digital newsroom dedicated to reporting for immigrants and communities of color in Minnesota. Their mission: To provide fair, groundbreaking news coverage that illuminates issues affecting Minnesota immigrants and communities of color and to chronicle how these communities are changing and redefining what it means to be a Minnesotan. To become an indispensable and trusted source of news and information for immigrants and communities of color in Minnesota.
