In celebration of her recently published book, "Valentine's Day in the Village," educator and author Phyllis Alsdurf will discuss her career, how she practices creative writing, and the influences from her upbringing that appear in her written work.

Children's book author Phyllis Alsdurf is a former journalism and creative writing professor. She is the author of "It's Milking Time" and the Countryside Holiday series, which includes "Thanksgiving in the Woods" and "A Simple Christmas on the Farm". Phyllis lives in Minnesota
