The Illustrator, illustrator, Jerry Pinkney penciled/ drawn the pictures, wow. Overall, the story about Dr. King and his friends from all walks of life was outstanding. Apart of our History was shared with this timely story about the Civil Rights movement. Grades ( K-3) & Age 6-9 with a Lexile levels of BR 70L - 930L. Thanks Barry Wittenstein, author.
